Company Profile:

The Pakistan Sports Board was established by the Ministry of Education in 1962 to promote and develop uniform competitive standards for sports in Pakistan comparable to internationally recognized standards and to regulate the sport, Make it a part of sports in Pakistan. Pakistan controls at the national level.

Subsequently, in July 1977, the administrative control of the Pakistan Sports Authority was transferred to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry was established.

Following the decentralization of the Ministry of Sports in June 2011, administrative control of the Pakistan Sports Authority was transferred to the Inter-Provincial Coordination Council (IPC).

The entire body of the Commission is based in Islamabad. The General Assembly consists of 38 members. It formulates policy and implements it through a 12-member executive committee.
